School is going good. Yesterday he checked out his first library book "No time like snow time". He took his lunch for the first time today. He shared his sandwich with a friend. He has two jobs this week, one is cleaning the tables after snacks, and the other is what they call the star helper, which means if some one is mad he helps them to calm down using different techniques that they use. The teacher is still calling him Jake , cause he looks like him. We are working on that.

Josh , for now gets to ride the bus with his cousin jake over to his house after school. But doesn't like to leave when we pick him up.
They have snacks every day, one of the kids get to bring a snack in to share with the whole class. Tomorrow is Josh's turn. Mommy is having a hard time trying to figure out what to send for his first time. But I bet she will get better at it! He has had brownies, pudding, and cookies!
He has told us about his contents in his desk, which includes 2 pencils, crayons, and 2 erasers.
He is learning new songs and today he asked a girl to play with him and she did , they played teather ball.
So we are getting some information.

Well today he learned a song, "he name is my name to".
Didn't get to talk to him much after school to find out more details, he had other arrangements for this evening. So I think it might take a little bit of time for things to sink in and get more settled in. But I do think he is liking school.

First Day

First day of school went really well for everyone. Josh didn't cry,so that was good, it made it a little easier on everyone. He rode the bus over to his cousin jakes house after school where we were waiting to pick him up. He didn't talk a whole lot on the ride home, he was disappointed that he didn't get to spend more time with his cousin after school. But as the night progressed he loosened up and started talking about school a little more. He told us about a new game called find the bone, got to play some basket ball, and had pizza for lunch. I know Tracy and I are excited to here all about it from day to day, and will keep this up to date as the surprises unfold. I am going to try to post a first day pic.
